Michael Larson joined Cowheard, Singer & Company at the Firm’s inception in January 2012 and serves as a Manager in the Forensic & Dispute Services department.
Prior to joining CS&Co., Michael served as a Litigation Services Manager at another Miami based forensic accounting firm (1999-2011), and before moving to Miami he worked as a Supervisor with Campos & Stratis (1995-1999) in New York.
Michael has been involved in public accounting since 1995 and his experience spans both attestation and investigative accounting services. He is a skillful practitioner in the measurement and determination of most forms of commercial losses and the preparation of economic damage models.
Michael is responsible for managing and performing a variety of commercial loss analyses, including: financial condition analysis, contract disputes, values at risk, business interruption / loss of profits, fidelity / fraud investigations, personal injury / wrongful death, and out-of-sight stock losses. His expansive industry experience includes banking, hospitality, retail / wholesale trade, textiles, jewelry, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, restaurants, and supermarkets.
He graduated from St. John’s University (New York) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant in both Florida and the State of New York.
